what was your most difficult challenge
during lockdown?
Not being able to travel. I have ants in my pants so it's very frustrating not being able to move around the world so easily. Travelling is a real passion because I learn so much from the local cuisine. I can't wait to go on the road again and bring back delicious recipes!
what is your most surprising/
funny anecdote during lockdown?
I sent a lot of postcards during this confinement. I usually send one a year, but the confinement forced me to be creative. Taking the time to write to my friends was another way to communicate my friendship than through screens.
what would you like to achieve
after confinement?
I don't think anything is going to change after confinement for my part. I will continue to eat well, enjoy friends, cook, share time with my family and take care of myself. But above all, I will put things into perspective and, as I like to say, "dance with ambiguity". We don't know what tomorrow will bring, but we can certainly have a small influence on it.
